Description of Mask flame retardant tester:
This test instrument is mainly used for electronic and electrical components or parts under fault or overload conditions, which may reach excessively high temperatures or ignite parts near them. The glow-wire test simulates the thermal stress caused by a heat source or ignition source such as a hot element or an overload resistance over a short period of time, the simulation technology is used to assess fire hazard. It is suitable for electrical and electronic products, components, household electrical appliances components with plastic non-metallic insulation materials and parts, such as: switch shell, relay sockets, etc.

Testing principle:
The mask flame retardant performance tester heats the heating wire of the specified material and shape (¢ 4 Ni80 / Cr20) with high current to the test temperature for 1 minute (550 ºC ~ 960 ºC), then scorches the test sample vertically at the specified pressure (1.0N) 30s, depending on whether the test article and the bedding ignite or hold the time to determine the fire hazard of the finished electrical and electronic equipment; determine the ignition performance, ignition temperature (GWIT), flammability and flammability index of solid insulating materials and other solid combustible materials.
