Introduction of 1700 ºC magnesium alloy smelting furnace:

The vacuum induction melting furnace is widely used in metallurgical plants and related material research departments because of its strict control of alloy composition and the ability of electromagnetic stirring and high vacuum degassing. The vacuum induction melting furnace can be used to melt and cast nickel base, iron base, cobalt base and other high-grade precision alloys or high-purity metals under high vacuum or in a protective atmosphere. If graphite crucible or crucible with graphite mixed with refractory clay is selected, the metal and its alloy with low resistivity can be melted by indirect heating, such as gold, silver, copper, aluminum, bronze, etc.

Main structure of 
1700 ºC magnesium alloy smelting furnace:
1. Furnace body: double-layer 304 stainless steel water-cooled structure, precision polishing, which is conducive to shortening the air extraction time and easy to clean;
2. Furnace cover: double-layer water-cooled structure, with 304 inner and outer walls and precision polishing treatment, and cooling water in the middle. The furnace cover is equipped with multi mirror observation window, furnace cover opening mechanism, etc.;
3. Induction coil: the induction coil is made of rectangular copper tube, and the surface of the coil is painted and insulated; the connection between the induction coil and the coaxial electrode is connected by two nuts, which is convenient for disassembly, and can ensure good conductivity and reliable vacuum sealing.
4. Coaxial electrode: the coaxial electrode is a rotatable coaxial sealed conductive device, which has the dual task of conducting electricity and water. It uses vacuum rubber seal to rotate the coil, crucible and smelting metal together;
5. Intermediate frequency power supply: the heating power supply can be IGBT intermediate frequency power supply. The IGBT intermediate frequency power supply is a series resonant intermediate frequency induction power supply. The inverter is a new IGBT module (insulated gate bipolar transistor, produced in Germany)
6. Vacuum system: in the whole smelting process, different vacuum units can be configured according to the customer's requirements, and the vacuum system is composed of high vacuum butterfly valve, electromagnetic vacuum valve with charge pressure difference, vacuum pipeline, stainless steel bellows and rubber sealing ring. In addition, a dual-purpose thermal couple ionization composite vacuum gauge is equipped for vacuum measurement.
7. Gas filling device: mainly composed of gas filling valve, flowmeter, gas filling pipeline, etc., which is used for the atmosphere requirements of argon and nitrogen filling required by smelting process;
8. Water cooling system: the water cooling system is composed of water inlet pipe, return pipe, electric contact pressure gauge, valve, pipeline, etc. when the water pressure is low, it will automatically give an audible and visual alarm, and automatically cut off the heating power function to ensure the safety of the equipment
9. Crucible mould: the nature of the molten metal is largely determined by the crucible material selected. There is a fixed mould table in the furnace. The mould is placed on the mould table for casting (the size of crucible and mould is selected by the customer)
10. Measuring device: there is a temperature measuring device on the vacuum pipeline of the furnace body. When temperature measurement is needed, one-time thermocouple can be installed, or optical temperature measurement or infrared radiation thermometer can be used together (see optional configuration part for details) to measure temperature through inspection window.
