Descriptions of vacuum glove box:
CY-VGB-3 is a middle size heavy duty stainless steel glove box with Airlock Chamber, Gauges and vacuum Flanges, which allow glove box operate under vacuum to remove moisture and oxygen without expensive inert gas purging, It is an ideal tool for material and chemical researchers to process air sensitive materials and solutions.

- Two KF-25 vacuum fitting ports with Quick Clamps are installed in the back for connecting vacuum pump, electric/fluid feed-through, gas circulating/purifying system, or other testing equipment

Application Notes:
- Corrosive liquid (such as LiPF6 electrolyte) must be remain sealed in a container inside the glove box.
- Otherwise, liquid vapor may condense and corrode the steel chamber and purification pipeline.
- The H2O & O2 removing rate is largely dependent on the type of purging gas used. For faster chamber purging process,
- Nitrogen is preferred over Argon due to its lighter mass.
- By closing the vacuum flange, the glove box can be vacuumed by mechanical pump up to 0.5 torrs before filling inert gas,
- (moisture can be below 180 ppm and oxygen below 200 ppm). Then you can save at least 1-2 tank of inert gas from purging at each operation

- You may choose humidity and oxygen analyzer below at extra cost to monitor gas humidity and oxygen content inside the glove box
- The humidity inside the glove box can be controlled by using either manual purging system or Gas Purification System. Please see our experimental results below:
- Humidity Range 4~5% Rh: Can be achieved after manually purging the system for 6 cycles by using N2 gas supply tank
- Humidity Range < 2% Rh: Please use either gas supply with 99.9999% gas purity with moisture filter or a Recirculating Gas Purification System for purging
Note: For Li-ion battery research, please order CY-VGB-5, CY-VGB-6, or CY- VGB-7 to achieve humidity < 10ppm
