Introduction of induction melting system


is a 15KW induction heating/melting system with a Top-Vacuum-Suction mechanism. Such unique feature can produce cast products ( 3 - 5 mm Dia. rod shape) by raising and introducing the molten metal into the top quartz feeding tube.  The sucking force applied results in a fast movement of the melt and cause the rapid solidification of the melt inside the quartz feeding tube. It is an ideal tool for preparing small diameter alloy rod with reduced shrinkage cavity defects.

Vacuum-Suction Casting Method
   
A top casting utilizes the suction force to produce a  3 - 5 mm rod shape metal alloy with the length of ~150mm max.
Shrinkage cavity defects of the alloy can be significantly reduced by utilizing such suction casting method.
The sucking force is generated by rapid movement of the syringe piston (manually operated) 
Observation window (12mm Dia.) on the top flange allows you monitor the melt conditions 
A 7 O.D x 4 I.D × 500 L mm quartz feeding tube is inserted from the feedthrough on the top flange. Warning: Never sucking cast metal alloy @ > 1200C to avoid damaging the quartz feeding tube.
